We are delighted to announce more PLC funding success. Hutton Cricket Club in Essex are the happy recipients of the maximum grant of £50,000 from Sport England’s “Inspired Facilities” fund. This fund was set up to ensure a long lasting legacy from the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This money will be used to upgrade the club’s changing facilities with special emphasis on improving access for women and girls and for people with disabilities.
PLC advised the club on their application and development plan, working closely alongside architects LAP of Billericay. Hutton are members of the Shepherd and Neame Essex Premier League and are one of the Essex Cricket Board’s focus clubs.
Work will start in March and will be completed early in the season.
We received notification of the award just before Chrismas but are only now able to make this public.
